Netflix has premiered the full trailer for filmmaker Noah Baumbach’s new feature “Jay Kelly” starring George Clooney, Adam Sandler and Laura Dern.
Clooney plays Jay Kelly, a famed movie actor and his devoted manager Ron (Sandler) as they embark on a whirlwind and profound journey through Europe.
Along the way, both men must confront the choices they’ve made, the relationships with their loved ones and the legacies they’ll leave behind.
Billy Crudup, Riley Keough, Grace Edwards, Stacy Keach, Jim Broadbent, Patrick Wilson, Eve Hewson, Greta Gerwig, Alba Rohrwacher, Josh Hamilton, Lenny Henry, Mortimer, Nicôle Lecky, Thaddea Graham, Isla Fisher, Louis Partridge and Charlie Rowe star.
Baumbach and Emily Mortimer penned the script for the film which premiered at the Venice Film Festival to so-so reviews but will apparently be Netflix’s big push come awards time.
James Bond franchise producers Amy Pascal and David Heyman are producing the feature while Nicholas Britell is handling the score.
“Jay Kelly” opens in cinemas on November 14th and on Netflix on December 5th.
