Following a cast-less teaser trailer last week, Apple has now released the first full trailer for its anticipated first original drama series “The Morning Show” starring Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carell and Reese Witherspoon.
In the series, Aniston’s character is a morning show host who addresses the firing of her co-host due to what seems to be sexual misconduct allegations. As Witherspoon’s new co-host rises in the ranks, Aniston’s seems to be having a breakdown. The story follows the journey of the high-stakes world of morning news and the lives of the people who help America wake up in the morning.
Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Karen Pittman, Bel Powley, Janina Gavankar, Desean K. Terry, Jack Davenport and Nestor Carbonell co-star. The series is directed by Mimi Leder and written by Kerry Ehrin, who also serves as showrunner.
It has already scored two-season order of twenty episodes and will debut exclusively on Apple TV+ this fall.
