Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow (“Point Break,” “Strange Days,” “The Hurt Locker”) returns with the intense thriller “A House of Dynamite” which has now released a full trailer following a teaser earlier this month.
In the film, a single, unattributed missile is launched at the United States and a race begins to determine who is responsible and how to respond. It was previously reported that the film unfolds within the White House and in real time.
The impressive cast includes Idris Elba, Rebecca Ferguson, Gabriel Basso, Jared Harris, Kaitlyn Dever, Tracy Letts, Anthony Ramos, Moses Ingram, Jonah Hauer-King, Greta Lee, Jason Clarke, Malachi Beasley, Brian Tee, Brittany O’Grady, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Willa Fitzgerald, Renée Elise Goldsberry and Kyle Allen.
Noah Oppenheim (“Jackie,” “The Maze Runner”) penned the project and recently created the conspiracy thriller limited series “Zero Day” for Netflix.
The film premiered in Venice the other day where it pulled in a 13 minute standing ovation, while on Rotten Tomatoes it stands at 90% after 20 reviews, and a more impressive 88/100 on Metacritic.
Netflix is giving the film a limited theatrical run on October 10th ahead of the film’s premiere on the streamer on October 24th.
