MGM+ has renewed its horror series “From” for a third season, the order coming through just four days after the show’s second season finale aired.
As with the previous two seasons, this will consist of ten episodes and is expected to debut sometime in 2024. The series has become the second-most watched series in MGM+ history, behind only “Godfather of Harlem”.
“From” unfolds in a mysterious town that traps all those who enter it and prevents them from leaving. In the third season, escape will become a tantalizing and very real possibility as the town’s true nature comes into focus and the townspeople go on offense against the horrors surrounding them.
In an official statement, MGM+ chief Michael Wright says:
“The first two seasons of ‘From’ captivated critics and terrified and engaged fans, who have formed a thriving online community that is trying to put the pieces together week by week as the secrets of the nightmarish town—and possibly beyond—are slowly revealed. We can’t wait for fans to see the surprises ahead in Season Three, which promises more scares and mysteries, but also more answers.”
Harold Perrineau, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Ricky He, Chloe Van Landschoot, Corteon Moore, Angela Moore, A.J. Simmons, and Deborah Grover co-star in the series.
John Griffin created, Jeff Pinkner serves as showrunner and Jack Bender directs. All three executive produce, along with Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Scott Rosenberg, Mike Larocca. Lindsay Dunn and Anthony and Joe Russo.
