Twentieth Century Fox and Lakeshore Entertainment are planning a remake of the 1985 comedy “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” says Variety.
The original centered on two girls who share a passion for dancing and the hit show “Dance TV.” Helen Hunt, Shannen Doherty and Sarah Jessica Parker starred.
Michelle Morgan (“Is He the One”) will adapt the script.
