FOX has handed out a pilot production commitment to “The Passage,” a drama series based on Justin Cronin’s fantasy novel trilogy from Scott Free and 20th Century Fox TV.
“Friday Night Lights” producer Liz Heldens pens and “Felicity” co-creator Matt Reeves is set to direct the character-driven government conspiracy thriller which spans over a century and and morphs into a post-apocalyptic saga with vampires.
The action focuses on a young girl named Amy who must save the human race. Heldens, Reeves, Adam Kassan, Ridley Scott and David W. Zucker executive produce.
