The FOX network has announced that six new series are being added for the 2022-23 season, but in an unexpected move it has not announced its schedule for the Fall.
At present renewal deals for sixth seasons of both “911” and “The Resident” have not yet been worked out with negotiations to bring both back still ongoing.
The spin-off “911: Lone Star” has already been renewed though, as have comedies “Call Me Kat” and “Welcome to Flatch” along with the competition series “The Masked Singer”. In addition, “Fantasy Island” and “Lego Masters” will get in-season premieres.
Three new dramas are being added – the Jamie Foxx-produced missing-persons series “Alert,” the courtroom anthology “Accused” which follows a defendant’s perspective, and the Susan Sarandon-led country music drama “Monarch”.
Also new will be two animated series – “Grimsburg” starring Jon Hamm as a detective, and Dan Harmon’s ancient Greece-set “Krapopolis” featuring the voices of Hannah Waddingham, Richard Ayoade and Matt Berry. There’s also the unscripted series “Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars”.
