French actress Astrid Berges-Frisbey is set to play a mermaid in “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” at Disney Pictures says Digital Spy.
The actress plays Syrena, a mermaid who has a fateful encounter with Jack Sparrow. She’s previously appeared in the films “Bruc” and “La Premiere Étoile”
Filming kicks off in June for a release next May.
