JD Pardo (“Mayans MC”), Joaquim de Almeida (“Clear and Present Danger”), Darren Barnet (“Never Have I Ever”) and Kevin Carroll (“Let the Right One In”) have all signed on for roles in Amazon Prime’s “Road House” remake which began production this week in the Dominican Republic.

They join an ensemble led by Jake Gyllenhaal, Billy Magnussen, Daniela Melchior, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Lukas Gage, Hannah Love Lanier, Travis Van Winkle, Beau Knapp and two-time UFC champion Conor McGregor among others.

Doug Liman directs this reimagining of the 1989 MGM film that follows a former UFC fighter who takes a job as a bouncer at a rough-and-tumble roadhouse in the Florida Keys, but soon discovers that not everything is what it seems in this tropical paradise.

Joel Silver is producing the film penned by Anthony Bagarozzi & Charles Mondry.
