Amybeth McNulty (“Anne with an E”), Myles Truitt (“Queen Sugar”), Regina Ting Chen (“Queen of the South”), and Grace Van Dien (“The Village”) have scored recurring roles in the fourth season of “Stranger Things” on Netflix.
McNulty will play fast-talking band nerd Vickie, Ting Chen will play popular guidance counselor Ms. Kelly, and Van Dien will play Hawkins’ High lead cheerleader and the ever-popular Chrissy. Finally, Truitt will play Hawkins basketball star Patrick who has it all until shocking events send his life spiralling out of control.
The new season is currently in production in Atlanta with regulars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery and Priah Ferguson all returning. Horror legend Robert Englund is also involved.
A new six-episode fiction podcast series and book centering on Maya Hawke’s character Robin has also been announced. “Rebel Robin: Surviving Hawkins” will be written and directed by Lauren Shippen, Hawke, and Sean Maher and will focus on Robin and her favorite teacher, Mr. Hauser, as they meet regularly to discuss philosophy, books, friendship, independence, and more.
