One of the most unexpected reports of the day has indicated that there’s more than one version of next week’s “Avengers: Doomsday” teaser trailer.
THR indicates four different teasers have been crafted with Disney and Marvel Studios planning a staggered rollout.
The first teaser will release next Friday with “Avatar: Fire and Ash”. Then, every Friday, it will be switched out for the next teaser with the second presumably sometime around Christmas Day, the third around New Year’s Day, and the fourth during the following week.
That would partly explain why there’s been no fanfare about a potential online release of the teaser as yet. Even if one does drop, it’s likely it will be just the first and not any of the subsequent ones, which will be cinema exclusives.
It has already been indicated from various sources that the teaser trailer won’t be hitting online before the opening of “Avatar: Fire and Ash” in cinemas next Thursday evening.
Marvel and Disney still have no comment on the rollout of the film’s trailer.
