Apple TV+ has announced a June 10th premiere date for the third season of their highly acclaimed yet criminally under-watched alternate history space drama “For All Mankind”.
The series unfolds in an alternative world in which the Soviet Union beat the United States to the moon. The new season moves things forward to a new decade, the early 1990s, as a high-octane race is underway for a new planetary frontier – Mars.
Not only are the U.S. and the Soviet Union competing to get their first, but an unexpected new entrant with a lot to prove joins the fray.
The ensemble cast returning for season three includes Joel Kinnaman, Shantel VanSanten, Jodi Balfour, Sonya Walger, Krys Marshall, Cynthy Wu, Casey Johnson, Coral Pena and Wrenn Schmidt, along with new series regular Edi Gathegi.
Bed Nedivi & Matt Wolpert serve as showrunners while Ronald D. Moore executive produces for Sony Pictures Television.
