“Fleabag” and “Broadchurch” star Pheobe Waller-Bridge is in talks for a key role in the Alden Ehrenreich-led “Star Wars” Han Solo spinoff feature at Lucasfilm and Disney Pictures.
The role is reportedly a CGI-driven performance, nevertheless it’s still said to be a significant part of the ensemble – not unlike Alan Tudyk’s K-2SO role in “Rogue One”.
Donald Glover, Woody Harrelson and Emilia Clarke co-star in the film which is set several years prior to the events in “Star Wars: A New Hope,”.
Phil Lord and Chris Miller helms the project which Kathleen Kennedy and Allison Shearmur will produce. The film is slated to open May 25th 2018.
