The CW has announced that the eighth season of their DC Comics adaptation “The Flash” will officially debut on November 16th with a five-part special.
Titled “Armageddon,” the event is expected to feature a number of guest stars from ongoing and finished Arrowverse shows who are reprising their roles to join Grant Gustin’s scarlet speedster battling a powerful alien threat with a mysterious agenda.
Coming back are the likes of Brandon Routh as The Atom, Cress Williams as Black Lightning, Kat McNamara as Mia Queen, Osric Chau as Ryan Choi, Chyler Leigh as Sentinel, Javicia Leslie as Batwoman, Tom Cavanagh as Reverse-Flash and Neal McDonough as Damein Darhk.
Showrunner Eric Wallace calls the run “some of the most emotional Flash episodes ever” and on a scale ‘bigger and bolder’ than traditional “Flash” episodes.
