Apple Studios has premiered the first trailer for the Tom Hanks-led post-apocalyptic drama feature “Finch” which will be released exclusively on the service from November 5th.
Hanks stars as the titular robotics engineer and one of the few survivors of a cataclysmic solar event that has left the world a wasteland. Having lived in an underground bunker for a decade, he built a world of his own that he shares with his dog, Goodyear.
He creates a robot named Jeff (Caleb Landry Jones) to watch over Goodyear when he no longer can. As the trio embarks on a perilous journey into a desolate American West, Finch strives to show his creation the joy and wonder of what it means to be alive.
Miguel Sapochnik (“Game of Thrones”) helms the film which was written by Ivor Powell and Craig Luck. The movie streams exclusively on Apple TV+ on November 5th.
