Apple TV+ has premiered the first trailer for the limited series “Lisey’s Story” based on the 2006 bestselling thriller novel by Stephen King.
Julianne Moore plays Lisey Landon, a widow of two years following her famous novelist Scott Landon (Clive Owen) passing away.
A series of unsettling events causes Lisey to face memories of her marriage to Scott that she has deliberately blocked out of her mind.
Joan Allen, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Dane DeHaan, Ron Cephas Jones and Sung Kang also star in the series which consists of eight episodes.
King is writing each while Pablo Larrain is directing. King, LarraÃn, J.J. Abrams, Ben Stephenson and Juan de Dios Larrain are executive producing.
The series premieres its first two episodes on the Apple TV+ service globally on June 4th.
