First Trailer: “Shadow and Bone” Season 2

Netflix

Netflix has premiered the official trailer for the second season of the fantasy series “Shadow and Bone” which wrapped filming late 2021 and is now finally arriving on March 16th.

Jesse Mei Li, Ben Barnes, and Archie Renaux all return and are joined by Lewis Tan as Tolya Yul-Bataar, Anna Leong Brophy as Tamar Kir-Bataar, Patrick Gibso as Nikolai Lantsov, and Jack Wolfe as Wylan Hendriks.

Based on Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse novels, the series is set in a war-torn world and centers on an orphan and lowly soldier as she unleashes an extraordinary power that could be the key to setting her country free from the monstrous threat of Shadow Fold.

Struggling to get a grasp on her powers while avoiding a crew of charismatic criminals out to get her, she learns that allies and enemies might be one and the same and that nothing in the lavish world is what it seems.

The new run sees Alina on the run from General Kirigan and determined to bring down the Shadow Fold and save Ravka from ruin. Kirigan is more dangerous than ever, but Alina and Mal rally their new allies and begin a continent-spanning journey to find two mythical creatures that will amplify Alina’s powers.

The series is showrun by Eric Heisserer and Daegan Fryklind. Shawn Levy, Josh Barry, Dan Levine, Pouya Shahbazian, Shelley Meals and Dan Cohen executive produce.
