Amazon Prime Video and Blumhouse have released the trailer for the horror-comedy feature “Totally Killer” which stars “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” lead Kiernan Shipka.
The story begins when the infamous ‘Sweet Sixteen Killer’ returns on Halloween night, 35 years after his shocking murder of three teens, to take a fourth victim.
Shipka plays a 17-year-old who ignores the warning of her overprotective mother (Julie Bowen) and comes face-to-face with the masked maniac.
Fleeing from him, she accidentally time travels back to 1987 – the year of the original killings. There she must face the culture of the 1980s and team with the teenage version of her mother (Olivia Holt) to stop the killer before she’s stuck in the past.
Charlie Gillespie, Lochlyn Munro, Troy Leigh-Anne Johnson, Liana Liberato, Kelcey Mawema, Stephi Chin-Salvo, Anna Diaz, Ella Choi, Jeremy Monn-Djasgnar, Nathaniel Appiah, Jonathan Potts and Randall Park co-star.
Nahnatchka Khan helms from a script by David Matalon, Sasha Perl-Raver and Jen D’Angelo. Jason Blum, Adam Hendricks and Greg Gilreath produce the film which will premiere on Prime Video on October 6th.
