Timed with the release of their “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” in cinemas today, Illumination Entertainment (“Minions,” “Sing”) and Universal Pictures have premiered the first trailer for their next animated feature “Migration”.
Benjamin Renner (“Ernest and Celestine”) directs what is Illumination’s sixteenth animated feature which is a comedy about a family of ducks who convince their over-protective father to go on the vacation of a lifetime as they attempt to migrate from New England to the Bahamas.
Further plot specifics are under wraps, but the project is being penned by celebrated “The White Lotus” creator Mike White who has had experience with animated features before – such as penning “The Emoji Movie”.
“Migration” arrives only in theaters on December 22nd.
