First Trailer: “I Love Boosters”

NEON

The first official trailer is out for “Sorry to Bother You” director Boots Riley’s new film, “I Love Boosters,” which has set a May 22nd release.

The story follows a group of shoplifters who take aim at a cutthroat fashion maven, though with Riley you can expect a bit of sci-fi thrown in there.

The cast is led by Keke Palmer as Corvette, Naomi Ackie as Sade and Taylour Paige as Mariah.

Joining them are Demi Moore, LaKeith Stanfield, Don Cheadle, Will Poulter, Eiza González, Jason Ritter, Poppy Liu, Kerris Dorsey and Kara Young

Riley pens and directs while Aaron Ryder, Andrew Swet, Allison Rose Carter and Jon Read produce.

Natasha Braier is serving as the cinematographer on the film, which was shot in late 2024 in Atlanta. Clocking in at 105 minutes, the film will have its world premiere at the upcoming SXSW Film Festival.
