Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer and a series of character posters for “First Man” and “La La Land” director Damien Chazelle’s Hollywood epic “Babylon”.
A tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, it traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in 1920s Hollywood as the industry undergoes a treacherous transition between silent and ‘talkie’ films.
Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and Diego Calva lead a packed cast that includes Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li, Jean Smart and Tobey Maguire star. The film is set to premiere in a limited theatrical release on December 25th ahead of a wide release on January 6th 2023.
