Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for the second season of its high-profile Emmy-winning drama series “The Morning Show” which returns on September 17th.

From the looks of the trailer, the story picks up directly after the first season finale as Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) and Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon) go public about the network’s history of burying their lauded employees’ toxic behavior and abuse when the feed is abruptly cut.

It then goes to reveal that Alex leaves the show which upsets Bradley who thought they were a team. There’s also looks at three key new players – Hasan Minhaj as new “Morning Show” team member Eric Nomani, Greta Lee as tech wunderkind Stella Bak who joins UBA, and Julianna Margulies as a news anchor who interviews Alex.

The first season launched to initially mixed-soft reviews, but critical appreciation grew as the season progressed and the title blossomed into a serious awards contender.
