First Teaser: Peacock’s “Mrs. Davis” Series

Peacock

Peacock has released a deliberately rather vague teaser for “Mrs. Davis,” its upcoming new series from “Watchmen” and “The Leftovers” showrunner Damon Lindelof.

An exploration of faith vs. technology, former “GLOW” star Betty Gilpin will play Simone, a nun who goes to battle against an all-powerful Artificial Intelligence known as Mrs. Davis.

Jake McDorman plays Gilpin’s rebellious ex, who also has a personal vendetta against the Algorithm. Andy McQueen, Ben Chaplin, Margo Martindale, David Arquette, Elizabeth Marvel, Katja Herbers, Chris Diamantopoulo, Ashley Romans, Tom Wlaschiha and Mathilde Ollivier co-star.

Tara Hernandez co-writes and serves as showrunner along with executive producing alongside Lindelof and Owen Harris. Harris and Alethea Jones each direct multiple episodes including the premiere while Warner Bros. Television produces the series.

“Mrs. Davis” will premiere exclusively on Peacock with four episodes on April 20th followed by a weekly rollout on Thursdays
