Two major filmmakers have released the first posters for their next features today.
First up, the legendary Hayao Miyazaki has premiered the one-sheet for “How Do You Live,” the potential final film of the “Spirited Away” and “Princess Mononoke” helmer.
The story is based on the 1937 novel by Yoshino Genzaburo. It follows a boy on a journey to discover spiritual growth, poverty & the meaning of life with the help of his uncle offers advice through a journal.
That film is currently targeting a July 2023 Japanese release, no word on when it will hit international markets.
That’s not all today though as “Hereditary” and “Midsommar” filmmaker Ari Aster’s next feature “Beau is Afraid” has premiered its initial poster. That film will star Joaquin Phoenix and will be released by A24 in 2023.
