The official Twitter account for James Gunn’s “The Suicide Squad” spin-off series “Peacemaker” has released the first poster from the upcoming HBO Max series.
The artwork has John Cena’s character driving a car and giving the peace sign outside the window. There’s also a sticker promoting the show’s upcoming presentation at DC Fandome in October where we’ll likely get the show’s first trailer ahead of its January premiere.
The eight-episode series will take place after the events of “The Suicide Squad” and will also explore the origins of Cena’s Peacemaker character.
Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, and Chukwudi Iwuji co-star.
