Universal Pictures has released the official one-sheet for “Fast X,” the tenth entry in the “Fast and Furious” franchise. The one-sheet comes ahead of the film’s super-sized first trailer arriving online next Friday February 10th followed by a cut-down version of that which is becoming a Superbowl spot on the Sunday February 12th.
Tthe Louis Leterrier-helmed film, which serves as the first of a two-parter closing out the main franchise, is said to sport an eye-watering production budget of around $340 million – the most expensive non-Disney film ever and 70% larger than that of “F9”.
Returnees include Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, John Cena, Charlize Theron, Cardi B, Helen Mirren, Michael Rooker and Scott Eastwood.
They are joined by Jason Momoa, Daniela Melchior, Brie Larson, Rita Moreno and Alan Ritchson in the new outing, with Momoa playing a flamboyant villain who becomes involved with Toretto and his crew for an unknown reason.
In addition, Diesel has used his personal Instagram to post a teaser image from the upcoming movie with him fist bumping with Jason Momoa. Momoa is decked out in all white, but it’s unclear if the outfit is what he’s wearing through the film.
Filming on “Fast X” took place across London, Rome, Turin, Lisbon, and Los Angeles. “Fast X” will hit cinemas on May 19th.
