The first photos have been released from the G.I. Joe origin film “Snake Eyes” starring Henry Golding as the katana-wielding ninja soldier.
The images show Golding training with the sword Morning Light and getting into fights along with first looks at Andrew Koji as rival Storm Shadow, Haruka Abe as thenew character Akiko, Samara Weaving as Scarlett, and Ursula Corbero as classic Cobra villain The Baroness.
As the film is an origin story, Golding’s face and voice will be heavily featured as he’s not the mute and always-helmeted Snake Eyes at this point.
“Snake Eyes” is scheduled for release in cinemas on July 23rd.
