IFC Films shared the first photo from its upcoming film “Paint” starring Owen Wilson as a Bob Ross-inspired painter.
Wilson portrays Carl Nargle, Vermont’s #1 public television painter who is convinced he has it all: a signature perm, custom van, and fans hanging on his every stroke.
However, a younger, better artist steals everything (and everyone) Carl loves. Michaela Watkins, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ciara Renee, Lusia Strus, Stephen Root, and Lucy Freyer co-star.
The film has been written and directed by Brit McAdams and is currently slated to release in cinemas on April 28th 2023.
