Last month came the news that Steven Soderbergh’s “Magic Mike’s Last Dance,” a final film in the male stripper franchise, would be getting a theatrical release and wouldn’t go straight to HBO Max as originally planned.
Today the first official still from the film has been released with Channing Tatum back as “Magic” Mike Lane as he shows off his abs to Salma Hayek’s Pinault albeit only through a sense of touch.
Gavin Spokes, Caitlin Gerard, Christopher Bencomo, Ayub Khan-Din, Juliette Motamed, and Christie-Leigh Emby co-star in the film which sadly won’t see many cast members from the prior two films return.
Soderbergh directs a script by Reid Carolin. The two previous films have grossed $286 million worldwide, and the next one is expected to do strong business too when it opens February 10th.
