Filming has begun on “Jackie” director Pablo Larrain’s new biopic “Spencer” starring Kristen Stewart as the late Princess Diana Spencer.
The first photo has been released of Stewart in character in the film which has been penned by “Peaky Blinders” creator Steven Knight.
The story focuses on one weekend, a Christmas holiday with the Royal Family at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, when Diana decides to leave her marriage to Prince Charles.
Timothy Spall, Sally Hawkins and Sean Harris co-star. Filming will take place in Germany and the U.K. ahead of a Fall 2021 release.
