The first photo has been released of Ben Affleck starring in the Robert Rodriguez-directed amped-up Hitchcock-esque thriller “Hypnotic”.
Affleck will reportedly play a detective investigating a series of inexplicable crimes while searching for his missing daughter (Hala Finley) – her disappearance tying to a secret government program.
Alice Braga, JD Pardo, Dayo Okeniyi, Jeff Fahey, Jackie Earle Haley, and William Fichtner co-star in the film which Rodriguez penned the screenplay along with Racer Rodriguez and Max Borenstein.
Rodriguez is set to screen a work-in-progress cut at the upcoming SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas, on March 12th. Jeff Robinov, John Graham, Mark Gill, Guy Botham, Lisa Ellzey​​​​​​, and both Robert & Racer Rodriguez produce.
Hypnotic will be released theatrically by Ketchup, though a premiere date has not been announced.
