Timed with the 25th anniversary of the game franchise, Amazon Prime Video has released the first image from their highly-anticipated TV series adaptation of “Fallout”.
The image appears to show the entrance to a Vault, the massive bunker-like underground constructions where human settlements survived a nuclear apocalypse.
In the games, players take control of a person trying to survive as they explore the outside world and defend themselves against the mutant creatures that now roam the Earth.
Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Xelia Mendes-Jones, and Aaron Moten star in the series, which has Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner as showrunners.
Johnathon Nolan is set to direct the series’ pilot episode and will serve as an executive producer. No air date has yet been set.
Congratulations and Happy 25th Birthday! We made something special for the occasion. #Fallout #Fallout25 @BethesdaStudios @Bethesda @Fallout @Kilter_Films pic.twitter.com/eFg7t5O8Wa
