First New Sony PS+ Extra Titles Revealed

First New Sony Ps Extra Titles Revealed
Annapurna Interactive

A few weeks after the launch of its new three-tier PlayStation Plus system, Sony has revealed the first round of additional games coming to the platform this month.

The big one is the Day One release of “Stray” on July 19th, Annapurna Interactive’s platformer in which you play a cat. The title will be a console exclusive (it’s also coming to PC) and confirms that the new PSPlus system will have day-one launches – just not major first-party titles.

Also coming are the full “Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade” edition and “Marvel’s Avengers” complete with its new Thor pack. There’s also a whole bunch of the “Assassin’s Creed” back catalogue with five titles (Unity, Black Flag, Rogue Remastered, Freedom Cry, Ezio Collection), and both “Saints Row IV: Re-Elected” and “Saints Row Gat out of Hell”.

They join the three free games for all members – “Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time,” “The Dark Pictures Man of Medan” and “Arcadegeddon”. Also included on the smaller side there’s indie “Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition” along with “ReadySet Heroes” and movie/TV tie-in games from “Jumanji,” “Ice Age” and “Paw Patrol”. For premium members, there are the PSP titles “No Heroes Allowed” and “LocoRoco Midnight Carnival”.

The stacked line-up compares surprisingly favourably to Xbox Game Pass which in July is adding a day one release of indie “As Dusk Falls,” Ubisoft’s “Far Cry 5,” three “Yakuza” titles, “PowerWash Simulator” and a larger and healthier assortment of indies.
