Amazon

Amazon Prime Video has released a first look at “Gen V,” the upcoming college-set spinoff of Amazon’s “The Boys”.

The trailer was released during Saturday’s CCXP pane and offers a look at the various characters including former “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” duo Jaz Sinclair and Chance Perdomo. Further additions announced today include “Supernatural” alum Alexander Calvert, the legend that is Clancy Brown, and Jason Ritter.

Set at America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (run by Vought International), this explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the school’s top ranking.

Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Marco Pigossi also star.

Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters serve as showrunners and executive producers with the show to debut on the streamer in 2023.

The trailer release comes as the main “The Boys” series has added Rosemarie DeWitt, Rob Benedict and Elliot Knight to the fourth season’s cast with DeWitt to play Hughie’s mother.
