Wayne Brady (“Whose Line Is It Anyway,” “Black Lightning”) has joined Netflix’s “The Cuphead Show,” an animated comedy series adaptation of the critically acclaimed video game.
Announced as part of its Geeked Week event, Netflix revealed that the comedian and host has joined the series as the villain King Dice – the manipulative, right-hand man to The Devil.
Studio MDHR are behind the series which will expand on the game’s characters and its world, but retain the animation style inspired by the classic 1930s Max Fleischer cartoons.
The story follows the unique misadventures of the impulsive Cuphead and his cautious but easily swayed brother Mugman. Through their many misadventures across their surreal home of the Inkwell Isles, they’ve always got each other’s back.
