Timed with the film’s world premiere at SXSW, Searchlight Pictures has premiered a first clip from the upcoming film “Flamin’ Hot” which premieres on June 9th directly on Hulu.
The film deals with Richard Montanez (played by Jesse Garcia), the son of a Mexican immigrant and janitor at Frito-Lay who came up with the idea for Flamin’ Hot Cheetos inspired by the flavors of his community. The move changed the food industry forever.
Lewis Colick and Linda Yvette Chávez penned the script while Annie Gonzalez, Dennis Haysbert, Emilio Rivera, Tony Shalhoub and Matt Walsh co-star in the film which marks Eva Longoria’s directorial debut.
