Final Trailer: “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts”

Paramount PIctures

Ahead of its opening on Friday, Paramount Pictures has released a final trailer for “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts”.

The film is set in the 1990s and is described as a globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduces a whole new faction of Transformers – the Maximals – to join them as allies in the existing battle for Earth.

Reviews for the film went online this morning, the title clocking up a very mixed rating of 57% (5.2/10) on Rotten Tomatoes and with a common bit of praise being “at least it’s short”.

The film will also introduce the Predacons and Terrorcons in what is the seventh overall “Transformers” film and the first since 2018’s “Bumblebee”.

Anthony Ramos plays Noah, an ex-military electronics expert who lives with and supports his family in Brooklyn, while Dominque Fishback plays Elena, an artifact researcher at a museum.

They lead the cast in the live-action roles in this entry inspired by the popular Beast Wars property. Ron Perlman, Michelle Yeoh, Peter Dinklage, Pete Davidson, Michaela Jae Rodriguez and Peter Cullen lend their voices to the transformers.

Steven Caple Jr. helms the film from a script by Joby Harold, Darnell Metayer, Josh Peters, Erich Hoeber and Jon Hoeber.

The film opens in cinemas everywhere this Friday.
