Final Trailer: The “Dungeons & Dragons” Movie

Paramount Pictures

Following raves out of SXSW and sneak preview screenings taking place in various markets both last weekend and this weekend, the buzz is building for “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves,” the live-action film adaptation of the famed role playing franchise.

With one week to go before the film’s official release, Paramount Pictures has released one final trailer for the film to help convince people to get out to cinemas to see it. The tone skews more comedy centric than previous trailers, showing off some of the film’s character-based humor and charm.

On Rotten Tomatoes the film is currently tracking at 87% (7.4/10) which puts it as one of the best wide releases of the year thus far.

The movie sees a charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people.

It stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Hugh Grant, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis and Chloe Coleman, and has been written, directed, and executive produced by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley.

“Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” will be released in theatres worldwide by Paramount Pictures and eOne on March 31st. Sneak previews are set to take place this Sunday in cinemas everywhere.
