STXfilms has released the final trailer for the Mark Wahlberg led and Peter Berg-directed thriller “Mile 22,” a more conventional thriller than their usual true story collaborations of late like “Lone Survivor” and “Deepwater Horizon”.
Wahlberg stars as James Silva, an operative of the CIA’s most highly-prized and least-understood unit. Aided by a top-secret tactical command team, he must retrieve and transport an asset with life-threatening information to the titular extraction point before the enemy closes in.
John Malkovich, Lauren Cohan, Iko Uwais and Ronda Rousey co-star in the film penned by Lea Carpenter and Graham Roland. Berg, Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson are producing the film which opens August 17th.
