A final trailer has been released for Ben Affleck’s “Live By Night,” an adaptation of the Prohibition-era novel by Dennis Lehane. Affleck also stars in the film as Joe Coughlin, the son of Boston Police Superintendent who has not followed his father into a life of law and order.
Instead he’s making crooked money with gangster-run speakeasies and is infatuated with a mob boss’ girl (Sienna Miller) whom he steals along with a bunch of the crook’s money – fleeing to Tampa to join the rum-running underworld.
Elle Fanning, Brendan Gleeson, Chris Messina, Zoe Saldana and Chris Cooper co-star in the film which opens Christmas Day.
