Playing out like a mish-mash of “The Color Out of Space” and “Under the Skin” meets “The Rider” and “Yellowstone,” Amazon Prime has released a trailer for its eight-episode modern western mystery series “Outer Range”.
Josh Brolin stars as a married Wyoming rancher who must fight for his land and family after he discovers an unfathomable mystery at the edge of the wilderness tied to a black void that has appeared in his west pasture.
With the disappearance of his daughter-in-law and his family’s once private life now under scrutiny, he must question and re-evaluate everything he once thought he knew about his reality.
Imogen Poots, Lewis Pullman, Lili Taylor, Noah Reid, Tom Pelphrey, Tamara Podemski, Shaun Sipos, Will Patton, Isabel Arraiza, Matt Lauria, Deirdre O’Connell, and Matthew Maher also star.
The series was created by acclaimed playwright Brian Watkins and kicks off on the service on April 15th.
