Filming has gotten underway on David Ayer’s new action thriller “The Beekeeper” starring Jason Statham, Josh Hutcherson, Emmy Raver-Lampman and Jeremy Irons.
Kurt Wimmer pens the script in which Statham’s character, a former operative of the secretive and powerful network known as ‘The Beekeepers’, sets out on a campaign for revenge.
Production has been spotted taking place this week in the village of Tyringham in Buckinghamshire, UK. Specifically, the privately owned 18th-century stately home of Tyringham Hall will reportedly feature as an American embassy in the movie.
Production on the project officially began in London last month. Statham and Ayers will produce for Miramax and Cedar Park Entertainment.
