Filming has officially begun on the much-anticipated sequel to Netflix’s 2020 action feature hit “The Old Guard”.
The film’s director Victoria Mahoney took to social media to share the first photo from the set of the project which once again follows a group of immortal mercenaries.
Mahoney takes over the helm from Gina Prince-Bythewood who directed the first film which is based on the Greg Rucka comic of the same name.
Charlize Theron, Kiki Layne, Matthias Schoenaerts, Veronica Ngo, Luca Marinelli, Marwan Kenzari, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Harry Melling will all return while Uma Thurman and Henry Golding will play new characters for this outing.
