“Goosebumps” author R.L. Stine has confirmed on social media this morning that the sequel to Sony Pictures’ 2015 film adaptation of his young adult horror series has begun filming.
He also revealed the official title – “Goosebumps: Slappy Halloween”. The new sequel is rumored to follow the story of the book “Slappy’s Revenge,” although it’s not yet known if Jack Black will return to play Stine or the voice of the evil puppet Slappy.
“Goosebumps: Slappy Halloween” is set for release on October 12th.
