Fielder, Stone’s “The Curse” Sets Launch

Paramount+ with Showtime

“The Rehearsal” star Nathan Fielder is teaming with actress Emma Stone for the upcoming home renovation-themed comedy series “The Curse” with Showtime today announcing a November 12th premiere date.

The project is dubbed a genre-bending series that follows Asher and Whitney, a newly married husband and wife trying to conceive a child and who have just landed their own house-flipping series titled “Flipanthropy”.

The couple is seemingly met by an alleged curse that promises to “disturb the relationship”. Benny Safdie co-stars as their secretive producer, whilst Barkhad Abdi, Corbin Bernsen and Constance Shulman guest star in the series, which is co-produced by Showtime and A24.

Safdie and Fielder co-created, executive produced and wrote the series whilst Fielder directed. Stone also executive produced alongside Dave McCary and Ali Herting.

The series will premiere on streaming and on-demand for Showtime and Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers on Friday, November 10th.

It will then launch on Paramount+ on November 11th in the UK, Australia, Latin America, South Korea, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Finally, it will hit the linear Showtime network on Sunday, November 12th.
