A recent leak on the site EpicData, which is dedicated to tracking Epic Games Store updates, indicates that both a remaster of “Alan Wake” and the PlayStation exclusive “Final Fantasy VII Remake” might be coming to the PC.
The just discovered store entries were reportedly created in 2019 and 2020 respectively, though both were updated recently so there’s hope these will come true. For now, neither project has been announced at this point.
PlayStation does hold exclusivity rights for another six months over “Final Fantasy VII Remake” with the PS5 version recently launching. This suggests a PC release won’t be until sometime next year.
Remedy teased more could be coming on the “Alan Wake” front in its DLC for the celebrated “Control” which ties into the same shared universe.
