There’s no doubting that one of the most tolerant and patient filmmakers on the planet at the moment is Paul Feig who has had to put up with a lot of anger and resentment directed at his upcoming female-centric “Ghostbusters” reboot.
The film wrapped production recently, but that hasn’t stopped the backlash against it which has ranged from skeptical at best to outright misogynistic at worst.
In the last day or so though, Feig has fired back at some of his online critics with some reactions of his own including one which says: “You’ve been ranting at me and my cast for months with misogyny and insults. So go f— yourself. Goodnight. #enough.” Here’s a sampling of the tweets.
You all have no idea what we did, so stop acting like you do. Enough is enough. Just let this movie happen. #enough https://t.co/lBZGHaNEbz

Then you should embrace a new generation getting their own version. GB is a positive force. Your negativity isn’t. https://t.co/MOKZpLLIBo
