Following the strong success of “Don’t Breathe” and the not so great performance of “The Girl in the Spider’s Web,” filmmaker Fede Alvarez is returning and has lined up two more horror projects to at least produce at potentially direct.
One is the already reported on reboot of “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” franchise penned by Chris Thomas Devlin, while the other is freshly announced and is being dubbed “The Shining set in the White House”. Joe Epstein penned the script for that.
Alvarez and Rodolfo Sayagues’ Bad Hombre production company label has just signed a first-look deal with Legendary Pictures and will produce both projects.
