Netflix has premiered a new featurette for the fifth and final season of “Stranger Things” ahead of the first batch of episodes arriving in about two months time.
The video sees cast and crew reflect on the show’s journey from the first season to its impending conclusion. Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin,,Winona Ryder and David Harbour all weigh in.
While much of it is footage from the first four seasons, the featurette offers some new footage from the final season as the cast teases the new run’s epic scale.
Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, Sadie Sink, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Cara Buono, Jamie Campbell Bower, Amybeth McNulty and Brett Gelman also star. In addition,”Terminator” vet Linda Hamilton joins the cast, as does Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly and Alex Breaux.
The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. The final season Volume 1 debuts on November 26th with four episodes followed by Volume 2 on December 25th with three episodes, and then the series finale on New Year’s Eve.
