Though Netflix’s “Fate: The Winx Saga” series has been cancelled after two seasons, creator Iginio Straffi has promised other projects are now in the works based on the property.
In a posting on Instagram, Straffi wrote that: “I am working on many exciting Winx projects in the near future, some of which I take so much joy in sharing with you.”
They then revealed that a new CG “Winx” animated series reboot is going into production, which promises to “sweep you back to the Winx world.”
In addition, a “big budget Winx movie” is also in the works – something Straffi calls his dream and will embrace all the core values of the property – “Believing in yourself, empowerment, understanding true friendship, remembering the laugh-out moments and of course enjoying the sparkling transformation times.”
No further specifics about either project are available at this time.
